Short on time but not on ambition? This is the package for travellers who want to stand on Kilimanjaro without committing a week to the climb. You land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, we collect you, and you sleep in the quiet of the garden.
The next morning your guide drives you to Marangu Gate. You walk up through mossy rainforest full of colobus monkeys to Mandara Hut at 2,700 metres, with lunch on the trail and a detour to the Maundi Crater for the view on a clear day. By evening you are back at Katiti for a hot shower, dinner and a well-earned night’s sleep.
