Our story
The Lodge
Brick, teak and a garden full of birdsong — a small place, run by people who love having guests.

Karibu Katiti
A home, not a hotel
We built Katiti for the travellers who arrive tired after a long flight, and the ones who come back dusty and happy from the mountain.
The lodge sits in Kikatiti, a farming village on the road between Arusha and Moshi. The rooms face a walled garden of lawns and flowering trees; in the evening the courtyard lanterns come on and dinner is served under the stars or inside by the warm brick walls.
With five bedrooms we can look after every guest properly: an early breakfast box for a 5 am climb, a cake for a birthday, a driver who waits when your flight is late. Most of our team come from the villages around us, and they will happily tell you where to walk, eat and shop.

Our promise
Four things we always do
- 01
Meet you at the airport
Whatever time you land at Kilimanjaro, someone is waiting with your name on a sign.
- 02
Answer you quickly
WhatsApp, phone or email — a real person replies, usually within the hour.
- 03
Keep the price honest
The price you see is the price you pay. Breakfast, Wi-Fi and the airport pick-up are never extras.
- 04
Help you plan
Safari operators, mountain crews, a good dinner in Moshi — ask us, we know the people.
